Annie Clifford founded Clifford Enterprises in 1989, after working ten years for Wang Laboratories. The company originally specialized in designing newsletters, company logos, brochures, letterhead and business cards to better assist companies in marketing their products and services.
In 2000, we changed our business model and brought the marketing efforts online. We also began focusing on custom-designed Web sites. In 2002, we were the first company to add a video to a web site. We filmed, encoded and streamed short three-minute segments to client sites. For that effort, Clifford received the 2003 Business Person of the Year along with several other local business men and women from different industries. She was nominated again in 2004.
n 2009, we changed the company name to Clifford Web and Video Services to best reflect our new focus. Today, we specialize in designing and maintaining custom Web sites for companies looking to market their products and services online. We also create and produce video ads for business Web sites and stream them to the site.
Clifford Enterprises prides itself on keeping up with the latest advances in video technology. In 2011, Clifford attended the Miami Florida Business Video Expo.
New marketing research presented at the February 2011 Miami Business Video Expo showed how business videos have become a critical tool for online marketing success.
Clifford has earned certificates from the Digital Media Academy and the Maine Media Center in digital media, documentary film making, corporate script writing, web design and video editing.
